Both Dr. Abdul Hadi Daghlas and Mr. Muhammad Burqan present live lectures on precision agriculture project equipment for students of security geographic information systems in the smart agriculture project (Benefit)
Dr. Daghlas highlighted the importance of smart agriculture to maintain food security, especially in light of the unjust occupation policy that restricted agriculture in Palestine. This was followed by an explanation of the equipment’s mechanisms provided by Mr. Burgan, working on the technical aspects and linking them to remote sensing and aerial photography courses.
This enriched the students’ understanding of the importance of smart agriculture to increase agricultural production and maintain food security.
These lectures are part of the pilot phase of the curriculum that was developed during the Benefit Precision Agriculture Project “Digital Agriculture and Environmental Security Course and Food Security Course,” one of the Erasmus projects in which Al-Istiqlal University participates with many Palestinian and European universities.

ألقى كل من د. عبد الهادي دغلس والاستاذ محمد برقان محاضرة حية عن معدات مشروع الزراعة الدقيقة لطلاب نظم المعلومات الجغرافية الآمنية في مشروع الزراعة الذكية (بنفت).
وأوضح د. عبد الهادي دغلس أهمية الزراعة الذكية للحفاظ على الأمن الغذائي، خاصة في ظل سياسة الاحتلال الجائرة التي قيدت الزراعة في فلسطين. تلا ذلك شرح لآليات المعدات قدمه الاستاذ محمد برقان بالعمل على الجوانب الفنية وربطها بدورات الاستشعار عن بعد والتصوير الجوي.
أدى ذلك إلى إثراء فهم الطلاب لأهمية الزراعة الذكية لزيادة الإنتاج الزراعي والحفاظ على الأمن الغذائي.
هذه المحاضرات هي جزء من المرحلة التجريبية للمنهج الذي تم تطويره خلال مشروع الزراعة الدقيقة بنفت “مساق الزراعة الرقمية والأمن البيئي ومساق الأمن الغذائي” ، أحد مشاريع إيراسموس التي تشارك فيها جامعة الاستقلال مع العديد من الجامعات الفلسطينية والأوروبية
