SEMINAR ON INNOVATION IN PRECISION AGRICULTURE
In the period 25.01.2021 – 03.02.2021a second online training was held
seminar for the Palestinian partners under the project “Increasing innovation- in education and research Palestinian studies in the area of precision farming ” .
The scientific seminar was hosted The University of Patras, Greece. Him- Rector Prof. Christos J. Bouras,
opened the event and wished everyone participants fruitful work. Short Prof. Efstratios also addressed the participants Gallopoulos, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics ”from the same university. Cardiac Prof. Samir Al-Najdi addressed the participants, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Al-

Quds Open University (Palestine) and Dr. Nedal Al-Jayousi, Rector of the Erasmus National Office in Palestine. Prof Nikolay Mihailov (Angel Kanchev University of Ruse) presented the work program of the seminar and started of the event.

On the first day Ch. Assistant Professor Dr. Seher Kadyrova presented module “Application of sensors in precision agriculture – theory and virtual laboratories’. She introduced participants- they with the main technical parameters and characteristics of some types of sensors and their application in modern
agriculture. Dr. Kadyrova demonstrates practical virtu- strain gauge examination.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tsvetelina Georgieva gave a lecture on the topic “Application of wireless sensor networks in precision medal – theory and virtual laboratories “. She separated attention to the application of LoRa, Zigbee and others based wireless sensor networks in precision agriculture lie. In the practical part a methodology for
calculation of energy consumption when applying wireless networks…….
