SEMINAR ON INNOVATION IN PRECISION AGRICULTURE<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n
In the period 25.01.2021 – 03.02.2021<\/span>a second online training was held<\/span><\/div>\n
seminar for the Palestinian partners\u00a0under the project\u00a0“Increasing innovation-\u00a0<\/b><\/i>in education and research\u00a0<\/b><\/i>Palestinian studies in the area\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/i>of precision farming \u201d\u00a0.<\/span><\/b><\/i><\/div>\n
The\u00a0scientific seminar was<\/span> hosted\u00a0The University of Patras, Greece.\u00a0Him-\u00a0Rector Prof. Christos J. Bouras,<\/div>\n
opened the event and wished everyone\u00a0participants fruitful work.\u00a0Short\u00a0Prof. Efstratios also addressed the participants\u00a0Gallopoulos, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering\u00a0and Informatics \u201dfrom the same university.\u00a0Cardiac\u00a0Prof. Samir Al-Najdi addressed the participants,\u00a0Vice President of Academic Affairs at Al-<\/div>\n

Quds Open University (Palestine) and Dr. Nedal Al-Jayousi,\u00a0Rector of the Erasmus National Office in Palestine. Prof <\/span>Nikolay Mihailov (Angel Kanchev University of Ruse) presented the work program of the seminar and started\u00a0<\/span>of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the first day Ch.\u00a0Assistant Professor Dr. Seher Kadyrova presented\u00a0<\/span>module “Application of sensors in precision agriculture\u00a0<\/span>– theory and virtual laboratories’.\u00a0She introduced participants-\u00a0<\/span>they with the main technical parameters and characteristics of\u00a0<\/span>some types of sensors and their application in modern<\/div>\n
agriculture.\u00a0Dr. Kadyrova demonstrates practical virtu-\u00a0strain gauge examination.<\/div>\n
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tsvetelina Georgieva gave a lecture on the topic\u00a0\u201cApplication of wireless sensor networks in precision\u00a0<\/i>medal – theory and virtual laboratories<\/i>\u00a0“.\u00a0She separated\u00a0attention to the application of LoRa, Zigbee and others\u00a0based wireless sensor networks in precision agriculture\u00a0lie.\u00a0In the practical part a methodology for<\/div>\n
calculation of energy consumption when applying\u00a0<\/span>wireless networks…….<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
